History

Previously known as Palmer Flatts, our hotel was used as a hospice. The site our hotel is on dates back to before the Crusades, and up to today, it has provided respite for those who require shelter and warmth from the national park. We withstand the changing landscape and also embrace it. With our Main House and Church View cottages being refurbished in 2023, we are continually developing our hotel to ensure it always meets your needs. Our most exciting plans to date are the launch of our Hyllside Suites in Winter this year. With the addition of 14 remarkable individual retreats adjacent to Aysgarth Falls themselves, these luxury suites will be perfect for those who enjoy the finer things and want to experience true luxury during their stay in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With views of the rolling hills and historic Bolton Castle, they are truly one of a kind.
